Parents’ Sharing
I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to The ABA Project in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for their unwavering support and dedication in assisting my four-year-old son, who was diagnosed with autism at a young age. The positive impact this center had on our lives is immeasurable, and I cannot thank them enough for their exceptional care.
As an Expat family moving to Malaysia from Canada we were worried about the support we would find for our son. When we first began our search for a suitable center for support we were immediately drawn to The ABA Project. The decision was not taken lightly, as we understood the pivotal role this center would play in our son’s development and overall well-being. However, from the moment we stepped through their doors, we were enveloped in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that instantly put our minds at ease.
One of the standout qualities of The ABA Project is the honesty and sincerity exhibited by their staff. From the initial consultation to the day-to-day interactions, their transparency and willingness to answer any questions we had truly set them apart. It was evident that they genuinely cared about our son’s progress and were dedicated to providing him with the best possible support.
The comfort and reassurance we felt in entrusting The ABA Project was further amplified by the exceptional professionalism and expertise of their staff. Each member of the team was highly trained, experienced, and compassionate. They created a nurturing environment where our son felt safe to explore and grow at his own pace. Their patience and understanding played a pivotal role in fostering his development.
Over the course of a year, our son flourished under the guidance of The ABA Project. Their individualized approach to therapy, tailored specifically to his unique strengths and challenges, yielded remarkable results. With their unwavering support, our son made significant progress in his communication skills, social interactions, and emotional regulation.
The dedication of The ABA Project extended beyond the center’s premises. The team worked collaboratively with us as parents, providing us with regular updates, progress reports, and guidance on how to reinforce his learning at home. Their open communication and partnership made us feel like valued members of our son’s support network, which further fostered his growth.
Additionally, The ABA Project organized various family engagement events and workshops, which not only provided us with invaluable insights into our son’s therapy but also created a sense of community among the families they served. These initiatives emphasized the holistic approach they adopted towards supporting children with autism, acknowledging the importance of involving the entire family in the journey.
As I reflect on the transformative year our son spent with The ABA Project, I cannot express enough gratitude for their dedication, expertise, and unwavering support. They have made an incredible impact on our lives and, most importantly, on our son’s development. The progress he achieved under their guidance is truly remarkable and has instilled in us a newfound hope and optimism for his future.
To the entire team at The ABA Project, thank you for your compassion, dedication, and unwavering commitment. Your family-friendly atmosphere, honesty, and professionalism truly set you apart. We are eternally grateful for the positive impact you have made in our lives and for empowering our son to reach his full potential. The ABA Project will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

We chose The ABA Project for our son because of their level of knowledge and professionalism. Our four year old son (diagnosed with moderate Autism Spectrum Disorder) attended the intensive 30 hour per week ABA program from Aug 2022 to April 2023. He was three years old at the time and had been in ABA before but nothing as exceptional as what was provided by Carmen and her team. We were confident they could help him reach his full potential, which he did!
Every day we saw him grow, picking up new skills quickly such as answering questions and asking for his favorite items. He loved going into their center each day and he built excellent relationships with his therapists. Carmen was easily reachable for absolutely everything and it was clear that she cared most about the children (first and foremost) Thank you for everything. We're so blessed to have met Teresa when we first discovered our son (5) was on the spectrum back in August 2020. She helped guide us and our son through the process. Her knowledge and experience assured us that we were in good hands. On top of being highly qualified, what really stood out was how she took time to patiently understand our son's situation and provided us with a plan on things we needed to work on together. The most recent milestone was when my son's school called to inform us that they will move him from a special needs class to be integrated in mainstream classes with normal kids. "

I was visiting Malaysia for a month and needed my 6 yr -old ASD son to maintain regular therapy sessions during that time. To that end, Carmen and The ABA Project family were fantastic.
1) They were understanding and accommodating. We worked out a schedule very close to my son’s original routine.
2) I was skeptical about my son accepting the new environment. However The ABA Project family did so well that my son acclimatized in the first week. Also I noticed he came out in a positive mood each time.
3) My aim for continuing therapy while on holiday was so that my son wouldn’t lose the progress we had achieved. I was very happy to see that in the 1 month spent, The ABA Project managed to improve some aspects of my son’s behavior.
Very happy with the results. Looking to go back again.

M, my son was diagnosed to be on the autism spectrum. He didn’t participate in his preschool activities and learning was left behind. We were introduced to Teacher Teresa by a relative. After 1 year being under Teacher Teresa’s care, his reading, writing and attention span improved by miles. He was able to join a mainstream inclusive kindergarten and later a self-paced learning center. He has no trouble reading and counting now. "
