Pavitra Paramesuvaran

M.Ed in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Wichita State University Kansas. Pavitra Paramesuvaran is a Clinic Supervisor and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based intervention for children with diverse developmental and behavioral needs. With a strong foundation in psychology, mental health, and behavioral science, she combines clinical expertise with a family-centered approach to help children build meaningful skills that promote independence, confidence, and long-term success. Pavitra earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and her Master of Education, majoring in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, from Wichita State University. Prior to returning to Malaysia in 2023, she worked as a Research Assistant with the Applied Cognitive and Expertise Lab, where she contributed to psychological research and further developed her skills in critical thinking, data analysis, and evidence-based practice. Following her return to Malaysia, Pavitra played a key role in establishing a new ABA therapy centre, taking on responsibilities that extended beyond direct therapy. She independently managed multiple aspects of the centre's operations, including conducting behavioural assessments, designing individualized intervention programs, providing one-to-one therapy, monitoring client progress, overseeing daily clinical operations, and facilitating regular parent consultations. Her ability to balance clinical excellence with operational leadership has enabled her to build structured, effective therapy services while maintaining a high standard of care for every family.
